Frequently Asked Questions
What sets you apart from other Inspectors?
I have over 20 years of construction and demolition experience and during my career as a police officer I performed thousands of investigations. With a vast knowledge of construction practices and my training as an investigator, I believed that I could be a very effective home inspector. In 2015 I became a licensed home inspector in the State of Illinois where I performed approximately 300 inspections per year. In 2018 my wife and I returned to our home state of Wisconsin to be closer to family. I I have been working as a property maintenance inspections for a local municipality and performing private home inspections since returning to the area. I also hold a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and have completed hundreds of hours of continuing education. While there are many home inspectors to choose from, please keep in mind that anyone can take the test to become a licensed home inspector. In this profession experience matters, and no matter how long someone has been inspecting, inspecting alone does not bring with it the same knowledge base that is acquired when someone has hands on construction experience. In addition to my very unique set of skills, education, training and experience, I only use the highest quality equipment to perform my inspections and testing. From FLlR thermal imaging to Zefon mold testing equipment and Radalink AirCat radon monitors, you can count on Noble Inspections to provide you with the highest quality inspection available.
Other inspectors offer same day reports, many within hours of the inspection. Why don't you offer this?
Personally, I would be extremely skeptical of an inspector that offers same day inspection reports...especially with turnaround times of 2 to 3 hours. For a typical 1500 sq/ft house an inspection will take approximately 3 hours to complete on-site. During that inspection I will take 200+ photos, all of which get reviewed prior to your inspection report being finalized. I personally go through every inspected component and photo after I return to my office and before I send you your report. I will typically spend another 2 to 3 hours "fine tuning" your report. In essence, I am performing a second inspection of the house by reviewing all of the photos and information. It is because of this attention to detail and focus on quality that you will not find another inspection report with more information or detail included.
Why do different inspectors have different prices for their services?
Inspection and testing prices can vary from inspector to inspector. I believe in charging a fair fee for an exceptional inspection. Many inspectors do not list pricing information on their websites because they may have additional fees, based on the age or type of structure being inspected. If you find an inspector that is charging significantly more OR less than other inspectors, that may be a red flag. If you have a question about price matching other inspectors, please contact me at 920-253-6278 or email@example.com
Why should I hire you?
I am an inspector because I love construction and inspecting. I want all of my clients to have the best inspection experience possible. When you hire me, you will get a thorough inspection performed by a knowledgeable inspector, with a very straight forward report and clear recommendations. Please look over my website and compare my attention to detail to that of other inspectors.
