Home Inspection: Reinspection

A reinspection is an inspection conducted to ensure that any repairs agreed upon between the seller and the buyer of the property have been performed in a proper manner using sound building practices prior to the final closing date.

When an agreement is made between the buyer and the seller of the property to have certain items repaired before the property transfers ownership, it is always a good idea to have those items re-inspected to ensure that the repairs were made properly.

Noble Inspections also offers a service that can be purchased called a Repair Estimate Report (RER). The repair estimate report is a tool that provides cost estimates for the recommended repairs identified during your inspection. This service can help you to make repair decisions about the items reported on your inspection report. Click on the following link to see a sample RER from Porch: Sample RER
